Mt Whitney & Eastern Sierra - John Minar Photography

Description
Mt Whitney & Eastern Sierra - As you drive west from Panamint Springs in Death Valley, the landscape transforms dramatically, revealing the towering eastern Sierra. Dropping into Owens Valley, the road ahead leads straight to Lone Pine, placing you at the base of the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states—Mt. Whitney, standing proudly at 14,497 feet. It was at this moment in my journey that I knew I had to pull over and capture the sheer magnificence of the view before me. Setting up my tripod, I began snapping photos, fully immersed in the stillness and grandeur of the moment. Have you ever made this drive? . . . #MtWhitney #RoadTrip #EasternSierra #LonePine #OwensValley #DeathValley #ScenicDrive #CaliforniaMountains #PhotographyLovers #EpicViews #NatureLover #Wanderlust #TravelPhotography
