As the sun slips over the horizon here in Yosemite National Park, the last light of day sets the iconic face of Half Dome aglow, its granite surface glowing brilliantly against a backdrop of dark, looming storm clouds. It’s one of those awe-inspiring moments that stops you in your tracks—raw, powerful, and fleeting. Feeling deeply grateful to be present in such a moment, I raised my camera and began capturing the final golden light dancing across the stone, knowing this sight would linger in my memory long after the sun had gone.
